Services Rendered: Analysis of the graduate programs offering advanced nursing practice specialties. Focus groups, curricular assessment and recommendations for change were provided.

 


USF - University of South Florida- College of Nursing
Services Rendered: Analysis and redesign of the graduate curricula for advanced practice nurses in several specialties. Development and implementation of the new curricula and guiding of the graduate program through both CCNE and NLN accreditation self study and visits.

Services Rendered: Analysis of regulation and codes of a state board of nursing and editing of the proposal seeking permission to open a program of practical nursing.

Services Rendered: Developed the Ambulatory Care Nursing Manual for Clinic services at the Rincon Reservation Clinic.

Gathering and reporting the information presented at these meetings provides for the dissemination of the current education, research and practice topics to nurse who are unable to attend these sessions.

Bethel, Germany. RG
Services Rendered: at Bethel Ev.Ausbildungssatte fur Pflegeberufe, four schools of nursing in Bielefeld, Germany consisted of reviewing the current curricula and developing a pilot program for post basic nurses in primary care in the community. During a second visit the methods of student evaluation and educational standards were addressed. Nursing education continues to be hospital based although the contemplated changes for increased outpatient services is being examined.
